Pembroke Pines [K-12] Campus - Orchestra

Intro

Orchestra is designed to help students develop their musicianship as string players in a solo and ensemble setting. The instruments in this class are violin, viola, cello, and bass. They will learn the fundamentals of good playing technique, including a detailed understanding of how the human body moves in the most effective way to produce a beautiful sound. They will also learn how to read music from a variety of genres and how to artistically play different styles. Playing in an ensemble is a life-changing experience; students will collaborate to make wonderful-sounding music. Each year is filled with great music of all different genres from around the world and all different time periods.
